Manufacturers and engineering firms from across Bedfordshire are being given the chance to form an unbeatable alliance to go for growth.

The Manufacturing and Engineering Sector Focus Group has been set up by Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce with the ambition of ensuring the county remains prominent.

“The idea is to create a forum where people come together to support one another and support economic growth,” said Chamber director Richard Cooper.

A launch event at Central Bedfordshire Council on Wednesday, February 27, will see a keynote presentation from Ewan Lloyd-Baker of Hayward Tyler, in Kimpton Road, leads the world-beating pump-maker which has markets for its specialist products around the world, including China. There will also be presentations by supply chain specialist Rachel Eade and funding guru Roy Matthews.

For details contact paula.devine@chamber-business.com or sue.munn@chamber-business.com.

The deadline for bookings is Wednesday, February 20.
