Celebrity hairdresser Beverly C MBE visited a salon to teach the team some tricks on Tuesday.

The Steve Hilliard team in Barton Road, Luton, got hands-on training to brush up on their razor-cutting skills and practise the latest hair colour trends from one of the most prolific female hairdressers in the UK.

Beverly C is famous for TV appearances including 10 years Younger and GMTV, and was the first female hairdresser to win British Hairdresser of the year, which she won twice.

She said: “ It’s always a treat to come to Steve Hilliard’s. Many of the staff trained at the Goldwell Academy with me, so it’s great to see them back in their salons. The staff are of such a high standard makes it a pleasure to work closely with them.”

Steve said: “What a fantastic day, Beverly C was so inspirational. It was great for the team to learn new skills with such a high-profile respected hairdresser. The team are all buzzing, and can’t wait to put everything they learned into practice.”
