Come to care home open day
A Dunstable care home is opening its doors on Saturday (June 18) so the community can come and see for itself what care homes are all about.
Chiltern View in West Street – a 28-bed home for people with dementia – has issued an open invitation for visitors to meet staff and residents.
Spokeswoman Rebecca Sharp said: “We’re holding a garden party with barbecue, homemade curries, raffle and tombola as well as hook-a-duck and garden games to raise funds for activities for our residents to enrich their lives.”
“The event starts at 12 noon and will finish with the raffle at 4pm. All ages are welcome so come and enjoy the day.”
