If you know someone who makes Luton a great place in which to live and work, make sure they get the recognition they deserve by putting them up for any of the 19 categories which include Young Hero, Service with a Smile, Parent in a Million, Teacher of the Year and Community Project of the Year.

The awards are once again being sponsored by regional law firm Pictons.

Managing partner Sukh Saini said: “Every year I don’t know how the judges can choose between all the amazing people who are nominated by their friends, family and colleagues.

“We always say that everyone deserves to win an award and that is so true. Every year we have to select an overall Winner of Winners which is an almost impossible task.

“All the nominees tend to be very humble unassuming people who are just so proud to be given recognition for their contribution.”

The prizes will be awarded at a glittering event on Friday October 14 and Venue Central.
