People who aren’t confident about their reading skills are being invited to sign up for the Six Book Challenge.

The Reading Agency launched the initiative in 2008 to encourage the less experienced to record what they read, with the incentive of receiving a certificate and the chance to enter a national draw.

Barnfield College collected an award for participating in the scheme and are determined to help even more people improve their literacy.

Last year 52 students took part – a number they hope to double this year.
