Students take over airwaves
For the fourth year running, the University of Bedfordshire’s local station has given up its schedule to students from the College’s BTEC radio course.
A team comprising teacher and pupils will be on air every day from 8am to 4pm for a fortnight.

Music includes hits from the 1980s and 1990s, R&B, soul, current top tunes and everything in between, including features, chat and a few interviews.
All presenter-led shows will be broadcast live except for Wednesday (June 22) when they’ll be produced at the College’s own studios – a first for the annual takeover.
Luton Sixth Form College radio teacher Andy Waterfield said: “It’s great that we’ve been invited back to RadioLab for the fourth time and let loose with the schedule for two weeks.

“There are few courses in the country offering anything similar.”
RadioLab spokesman Terry Lee said: “This is a wonderful partnership between two of the town’s leading educational providers.” > radiolab.beds.ac.uk/player
