Luton Youth Offending Service has been awarded the Quality Mark for Restorative Services by the Restorative Justice council.

The multi-agency service works to prevent offending and re-offending by children and young people.

Restorative process brings those harmed by crime or conflict and those responsible, together, allowing everyone affected to play a part in finding a positive way forward.

Chief superintendent Jim Saunders, chair of the youth offending service management board, said: “This quality mark demonstrates the commitment and professionalism of all those involved to continue to develop a high quality service.”
