Police officers in Luton have today shut down a house believed to be a drugs den.

A drugs warrant was executed in Raglan Close this morning and evidence was found of drugs use and anti-social behaviour.

Following an application to Luton Magistrates Court, a closure notice for the premises was issued this afternoon.

Sgt Richard Cunningham said: “We absolutely won’t tolerate drug use and anti-social behaviour so we’re really pleased that this warrant was carried out successfully and that the property has been closed down.

“Drugs ruin people’s lives and can have a serious impact on our local communities. Anyone with information about either drug use or anti-social behaviour is encouraged to get in touch with us so that we can carry out more closures such as this.”

Anyone wishing to report these offences is advised to contact Beds Police on 101.
