An elderly woman was left in shock after she was stuck by a car that failed to stop in Luton yesterday.

The collision happened at around 3.55pm as the elderly lady was crossing Dallow Road from the Clifton Road side to the Butlin Road side.

The vehicle struck the victim as it turned right into Dallow Road and drove off.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, who can help us piece together the moments before it happened. It’s really important that anyone with any information comes forward.”
