Hunt on for Hallowe’en gang

A gang wearing Hallowe’en mask and scarves robbed a teenage boy in Houghton Regis on October 31.

A teenage boy was walking along Chelsea Gardens when he was approached by a group of youths.

The offenders are described as male, aged between 14 and 17, and all had their faces covered with either a scarf or a Halloween mask.

It’s believed the same group of offenders had also verbally abused people in the area earlier on in the evening, as well as throwing fireworks at houses.

Detective Constable Emma Morgan said: “This was a despicable attack which left the victim requiring hospital treatment.

“The callous behaviour of the group of offenders is completely unacceptable and we’re urging anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or the earlier anti-social behaviour to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Morgan on 101, text 07786 200 011, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
