A man has appeared in court charged with the 2013 murder of Jordon Maguire in Luton.

Jason Nelson, 32, appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning after being extradited to the UK from Trinidad by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.

He was remanded into custody and will appear at Luton Crown Court on April 28.

Mr Maguire, 20, was stabbed at his home in Thrales Close, Marsh Farm, on 26 May 2013. He died later in hospital.

Mr Nelson has been detained in Trinidad since October 2013.
