Man found with serious head injuries in Luton alleyway

A man was found with serious head injuries in a Luton alleyway following a “disturbance”.

Police were called by a concerned resident over noise in Marsh Road between about 4.15am and 4.30am on Friday, January 15.

Officers attended and discovered the man with a serious head injury. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of Marsh Road near its junctions with Norton Road and Leafield at around the time of the incident.

PC Ryan Barnes said: “We are keeping an open mind as to how the man received these injuries and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and heard or saw anything which might be connected.”
