A teenager was kicked unconscious by four men who were armed with a knife during a robbery in Catsbrook Park on MOnday.

The incident happened at about 8pm as the victim, 17, walked through the park with his friend.

Four men approached them and pulled out a knife before taking the victim’s phone, cigarettes and college ID card.

They then punched and kicked him until he was unconscious before leaving the scene.

All four offenders are described as black men, 17-18 years old.

Police in Luton are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 17 year old student was robbed in Catsbrook Park.

Det Con Mandy Godfree said: “Luckily the victim is now recovering from this ordeal but we need to put a stop to this sort of violent behaviour before someone is seriously hurt. We need the public to come forward and help us do this and I would reassure anyone who has information that may help this investigation they can come forward and speak with detectives, in complete confidence.”
