Suspected knife attack on Luton teenage boy

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in a suspected knife attack in the early hours of Monday morning.

The 17-year-old was walking along Moor Street, Luton, just after midnight when he was approached from behind by someone who physically assaulted him.

The offender then made off in a dark coloured car.

Investigation Officer Lee Fassam, said: “This attack left the innocent victim with nasty head injuries, and it’s vital that we find out who was behind this violent assault.

“It’s believed that there may have been more than one offender and the injuries may have been inflicted with a knife.

“I’m appealing for anyone with information to contact us. In particular I’s like to speak to the member of the public who let the victim use his phone to ring for help after the incident.”
