Two males charged with commiting robberies on taxi drivers in the town will appear before Luton Crown Court later this month.
Mitchell Brightman, 20, and a 16-year-old from Stopsley were arrested at the weekend and remained in custody before appearing at Luton Magistrates Court yesterday morning (October 1).
They were released on conditional bail, and will appear before Luton Crown Court on Tuesday, October 15.
Mr Brightman, of Rutland Crescent, Luton, is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit robbery, while the 16-year-old is charged with two counts of the same offence.
A third teenager aged 17 from Luton was also charged in connection with robberies on taxi drivers and was remanded in custody by magistrates last week.
