Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault in Grove Park, Dunstable early on Friday morning.

Officers were called at around 6.15am to reports that a woman had been assaulted.

A Beds Police spokesman said: “The incident occurred in Grove Park between 2am and 6am, after a man and women left Cookies and Cream nightclub.

“Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time.”

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers attended the scene and investigations are on-going.

Grove Park was cordoned off with police tape and businesses in the park were out of bounds for much of Friday.
