A woman has been left ‘traumatised’ after being sexually assaulted in a Luton park.

The victim was walking through People’s Park at 3pm on Wednesday when she was approached by two men, one of whom then assaulted her sexually.

PC Richard Tott, investigating, said: “This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and has naturally left the victim traumatised.

“It is really important that we identify the man responsible in order to prevent him from assaulting any more innocent women.

“The offender is described as a white man, approximately 5’9”, slim, and aged in his twenties with short light brown hair. He was wearing a blue hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and white and grey Nike trainers.

“The second man, who is not believed to have committed any offences, is described as white, 5’7”, slim, in his late teens, with short dark blonde hair.

“He was wearing a light coloured long sleeved top and dark coloured jogging bottoms.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Tott on 101, text 07786 200 011, or call Crimestoppers, completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
