Caring students at Barnfield South and West Academies came to school on Friday clad in pink to show their support for the breast cancer campaign.
Others chose cultural dress in celebration of Black History Month.
A cake sale and quiz helped raise funds for the charity.
Principal Cathy Barr said: “By supporting the campaign we are providing funds that will ultimately save lives.
“It’s important to teach students to consider other people and backing events such as this means they have a better understanding of society and the role they play in the wider community.”
