The University of Bedfordshire is now a top ten Enactus university in the UK, thanks to a team reaching the semi final of the entrepreneurial organisation’s national competition last week.
The group of nine students finished semi final runners up behind Nottingham.
Enactus is an international non-profit organisation that works with leaders in business to help university students make a difference in their communities.
One of the main reasons for the strong performance was the presentation of Enactus Bedfordshire’s work with the Roma community in Luton, empowering them through language and literacy.
The project, Rewriting Fete, secured second place nationally for the Diversity award at the finals.
