Raising Better Children, a Luton organisation, is hosting an event to raise awareness of the need to report exploitation, at Luton Carnival Arts Centre on Saturday, October 31.

The show is part of a campaign, Hide No More, which encourages people to report sexual abuse and exploitation.

Christina Chitenderu, project co-ordinator, said: “We are holding the event to raise awareness in the community on the importance of reporting sexual abuse early.

“We are hoping that at the end of the show the audience takes away the importance of our message and that they are aware of who they can report abuse and exploitation to.”

The not-for-profit organisation provides support programmes and education for young and vulnerable parents of ethnic minority groups living in the UK.

The event is from 3pm till 6pm and there will be dance, music and poetry performances from Luton’s young artists.
