There’s something for everyone in this year’s build up to Christmas.
The festive season arrives with a flourish on Saturday (November 29) – and the place to be is Wardown Park Museum. The stunning Edwardian building will be dressed for the occasion in seasonal red, gold and green and there’ll be live music with the newly-formed Luton Town Band as they belt out Christmas melodies in the Rotary Bandstand.
In addition, you’ll be able to feed and pet a real reindeer family and meet Santa himself aboard his giant sleigh.
There’s feel-good entertainment at The Hat Factory on Saturday December 6 with The Beat – one of the biggest bands of the 2-Tone movement famous for hits like Can’t Get Used to Losing You and Hands Off She’s Mine.
Next up is Christmas at Stockwood on Sunday, December 7 where a seasonal fair will be in full swing with crafts, gifts and food stalls for tasty treats. In additon there’s a treasure hunt, Santa’s grotto and special
guest Simon the Snowman, plus much more.
Don’t miss Full House Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol at Luton Library Theatre from December 13 - 24. The show will mesmerise with clever puppets, snowy wintery scenes and well-loved Christmas songs.
And if it’s a good giggle you’re after, The Comedy Bar at The Hat Factory offers an evening of hilarious stand-up on Friday, December 19.
