There was a sombre few minutes in Luton Town centre as hundreds paid their respects to the 38 people killed in Tunisia.

A large crowd gathered outside Luton Town Hall as the two minute silence was observed.

A short statement was read out by Luton Council of Faiths condemning the massacre.

Some 30 Britons were among those who died at the hands of IS gunman Seifeddine Rezgui at the tourist resort at Port El Kantaoui on the morning of Friday, June 26.

The first inquest openings will take place later today.
