Over 9,000 supporters crammed into Kenilworth Road for the Hatters’ first home Football League clash since the 2008-09 season.

However, Matt Tubbs scored the only goal of the game on 41 minutes to burst Town’s bubble, latching on to Adebayo Akinfenwa’s flick on and hammering past Mark Tyler.
