The event on Saturday, May 7, from noon until 4pm, is open to all who are invited to share in the celebrations.

There will be a discovery trail, a performance by Luton Choral Society and the choirs of Surrey Street and Tennyson Road Schools, and face painting.

All photos and stories will be very welcome and gratefully received, and can be handed in at St Paul’s Church or

A spokeswoman for the church said: “We look forward to seeing as many people as possible, to share with us in celebrating this happy, and important event in the life of our community church. So please come along and enjoy an entertaining and memorable afternoon, and join with us in our silver anniversary celebrations. A very warm welcome awaits you.”
