L&D nurse nominated

A NURSE at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital has been nominated for an award for her work with Crohn’s and colitis patients.

Tracey Price, IBD clinical nurse specialist, is shortlisted for the national Crohn’s and Colitis UK Nursing Awards.

She was nominated by her patients. Kayleigh Franklin of Toddington said: “Bearing in mind how many people Tracey cares for, and sometimes she won’t have seen me for months, she will always remember what we discussed last time, without having to check her notes. Tracey always makes me see the best of things, and I have her to thank for my positive attitude towards Crohn’s disease.”

The winner will receive the Crohn’s and Colitis UK training bursary worth £1,000.
