Accused due in court after drugs haul seized

Cannabis 'worth £4 million' discovered by police

A second Luton man has been charged following a police raid on a warehouse in Essex where 4 million worth of cannabis was seized.

Colin Trevillion, 59, or Sharpenhoe Road, Streatley, was due to appear at Luton Magistrates Court yesterday accused of conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis.

Two other men, Gary Sherry, 38, of Edward Street, Luton, and James Edwards, of Gibbs Close, London, have already been charged in connection with the haul and remanded in custody. They will appear at Luton Crown Court on July 4 and July 28 respectively.

The police raid, part of an initiative called Operation Fulford, took place in Rayleigh, near Southend, last month.
