Fireworks displays across Chronicle Country
Enjoy fireworks events this weekend – but make sure you stay safe.
There are a clutch of organised events in Chronicle Country – and here's a reminder of them.
Friday, November 6
>> Check out Gamlingay annual fireworks spectacular at the community centre.
Gates open at 6pm and the display kicks off at 7pm. Tickets are 3 in advance or 4 on the evening with under fives going free.
>> Stotfold FC has its display at its Roker Park ground, The Green from 7.30pm.
Admission is 5 for adults, 2 for under 14s and 12 for the whole family.
>> The Bricklayers Arms in Potton is also holding a display. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and fireworks start at 8pm. Admission is free.
Saturday, November 7
>> Sandy Scout Group is holding a display at The Pit in Cambridge Road starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are 3 and available from the Bridge Farm Shop, Budgens at Fallowfield and the post office.
>> The Shefford Firework Appeal Committee is holding its 2009 annual spectacular at the White Hart. Gates open at 7pm and the display starts at 8pm.
>> Meppershall's bonfire night takes place behind the village hall followed by a disco. Tickets are 5 for adults, and 2.50 for under 16s.
>> Potton is holding its display at St Mary's Church Field. Gates open at 6.15pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm.
Admission is 5 and accompanied children go free.
>> Moggerhanger Park is holding its spectacular display from 7.30pm. Tickets are 15 for a family, adults 5 and children under 16 2.50.
>> Shillington Lower School PTA firework night is at Horn's Pasture from 5.30pm, with the display from 7pm. There will be a barbecue. beer and mulled wine, games stalls and face painting.
Sunday, November 8
>> The Crown at Northill will round off the weekend in style with a spectacular fireworks display on Sunday. There will be funfair rides and a barbecue.
