Bug trial for Nadine after public vote

Mid Beds MP Nadine Dorries

Mid Beds MP Nadine Dorries

Mid Beds MP Nadine Dorries has completed her first episode of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in the Australian jungle - but what did you think?

Nadine, whose constituency includes Toddington, Harlington and Barton, hit the headlines last week for her decision to take part in the show.

She is set for an interesting second episode after ‘winning’ last night’s public vote to take part in the first Bushtucker Trial, ‘Bug Burial’.

Presenters Ant and Dec joked that any viewers who had an issue with a member of parliament being in the show could complain to their local MP – unless they lived in Mid Beds.

And fellow contestant Hugo Taylor, of the reality TV show Made in Chelsea, said that if he were one of Ms Dorries’ constituents, he would not be very happy.

Viewers will discover tonight just what ‘Bug Burial’ consists of.

The MP’s early experiences have included paddling in a sinking ship, discovering that contestants have to sleep on the ground and not in hammocks, and announcing that she did not want to one day become Prime Minister.
