POLICE cleared a cannabis factory in Luton last week after electrical engineers coming to switch the home’s power supply off stumbled across the drugs farm.
Officers needed two skips to clear the house in Torquay Drive after engineers made the discovery shortly before 2pm last Wednesday after a bill for the address had gone unpaid.
The site was deemed dangerous until workers dug up part of the driveway to ensure that the electricity supply, which had been tampered with, was made safe.
Anyone with information relating to the factory should contact Beds Police on the non emergency 101 number, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
