Cash stolen in Homebase burglary

Burglars stole a safe during the raid on the Bramingham Homebase store

DIY store Homebase was closed yesterday (Monday) after burglars stole cash and goods in a raid on Sunday night.

Staff arrived at the Bramingham store yesterday morning to find a door had been forced.

The thieves had taken a safe containing cash, cash from the tills, the store’s CCTV camera system, window fixtures and the contents of vending machines.

Anyone with any information about the burglary should contact Det Sgt Barry Townson at Beds Police on the non-emergency 101 number.
