If you’d like to hold the new Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner to account, seize this opportunity with both hands.

A Police and Crime Panel is to be established to scrutinise the work of the first PCC who will be elected in November.

The panel will consist of 10 councillors and two co-opted independent members.

Spokesman Philip Simpkins said: “This is an exciting opportunity to be involved.”
