Two illegal workers from India who worked at Better Brows Kiosk in The Mall Luton were arrested yesterday (September 20).

The women, aged 20 and 21, were arrested by the UK Border Agency in a raid on the brows business at about 2.30pm.

Both women had stayed in the UK illegally after their visas expired and were working without permission.

The 21 year old was taken into UK Border Agency detention and the 20 year old was released on immigration bail while her case is worked on.

Both will be removed from the country if they are found to have no right to be here.

Chief Immigration Officer Alex Swain said: “We have teams across the country carrying out raids like this on a daily basis. Offenders should know that there is no hiding place and that where we find people who are in the UK illegally we will seek to remove them.”
