Leaking fuel and blocked road after crash

A man was taken to hospital after a car crash in Castle Street yesterday (January 31).

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called the scene at 3.45pm to assist in the incident which involved two cars and one van.

There was no one trapped in the car but the driver of one vehicle was treated by paramedics and taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital with minor injuries.

The road was blocked until 5pm, and there was fuel across the road which had to be cleared up.

Police enquiries are ongoing.
