Lorraine Kelly wants your obsolete outfits!
Detox your wardrobe for Race for Life
Television's Lorraine Kelly is urging Luton women to have a wardrobe detox in preparation for Sunday's Race for Life at Stockwood Park.
By taking unwanted clothes to RFL's Donation Station, they could raise extra cash on top of their sponsorship.
The donations are vital because as more and more credit-crunched Brits snap up charity shop bargains, Cancer Research UK stores are becoming increasingly stock-starved.
GMTV presenter Lorraine, who took part in the Dundee race with her daughter Rosie, said: "We all know times are tough, but this is an easy way to help raise money. Each bag could be worth up to 30 and this will go towards helping fund Cancer Research UK's important work."
Luton event manager Meg Salmon said: "Donation Stations are easy to find - just look for the blue marquee and bright pink flags when you arrive at Stockwood Park on Sunday. All items will be sold at local Cancer Research UK shops where stocks are currently running low."
