Luton motorist punched and robbed as he sat in car

A 25-year-old motorist was robbed as he sat in his car after pulling over to speak to a member of his family on his mobile phone in Ash Road.

The incident happened on September 14 at around 12.25am when two men approached the red Toyota Yaris. The first opened the driver’s door while the second walked around to the passenger door and the pair threatened the victim and demanded he hand over his mobile phone before punching him in the face causing his nose to bleed, a cut to his face and bruising.

The first offender is described as a man of Asian appearance and a dark complexion, between 28 and 33 years old. He was wearing a black hooded top and black jogging bottoms.

The second offender is also described as a man of Asian appearance and dark complexion, aged around 30. He was wearing a black and white hooded top and black jogging bottoms.

Both offenders ran off towards Oak Road.
