Man charged over sheltered accommodation assault

Victim is in specialist hospital with head injuries

A 69-year-old man has been charged with GBH with intent after a man suffered serious head injuries in an attack at sheltered accommodation.

The victim is in a serious but stable condition at the Royal Free Hospital in London following the incident at Robert Allen Court in Langley Street, Luton, at 5am on Thursday (September 2).

Brian Gordon of Robert Allen Court is due to appear at Luton Magistrates Court today (Friday September 3).
