Man fell from footbridge in heavy traffic

A man who fell from the footbridge in Telford Way will be released from hospital today (February 22).

The 17 year old fell at around 6pm last night, landing on the road, but he survived with cuts and bruises.

He was treated by the ambulance service and taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital, and will receive a mental health assesment this morning.

Telford Way was closed at the junction with Dunstable Road during rush hour while emergency services dealt with the incident.
