A man was taken to hospital after gun shots were fired in Arrow Close in Luton last night (February 4).

Police were called to the scene at 6.30pm and a man in his early 20s was found with injuries to his leg which are not life-threatening.

Three males were arrested in connection with this incident and are currently being questioned by detectives.

Nearby neighbour Natasha Lousvet who saw someone carried out of the house on a stretcher said on Facebook: “The worst thing about it is the two people with guns and one with a baton and one with a knife ran straight past me and my little girl and my 11-week-old son all it took was for them to pull that trigger by mistake and I could have been killed.”
