A robbery victim needed hospital treatment after he was assaulted by a gang of men who stole cash from his pockets.

The incident happened on Sunday September 2 as the 34-year-old victim was walking along Moor Path at midnight as he made his way home from work.

He was approached by five men who punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground before continuing to punch and kick him.

The men then searched the victim’s pockets and removed cash before leaving the scene in to Moor Park.

He attended the Luton & Dunstable Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries, including stitches to his right eye and severe bruising to his face and body.

The offenders are all described as well built men, aged between 27 – 30 years old wearing dark hooded tops over the heads and it is believed four of the men spoken with Asian accents and the fifth spoke with an Eastern European accent.
