Man’s shouts led to would-be robber running away

A 34-year-old man was threatened with a knife during an attempted robbery in Luton.

The incident happened on Saturday at around 8pm in the car park at Filliano Court, Cromwell Road.

The victim was parking his moped when a man armed with a knife and demanded he hand over the key to his vehicle.

The victim refused and began to shout before the offender ran from the scene.

The offender is described as a white man with a tanned complexion, 20 – 25 years old, with a muscular build. He had a fair moustache and a light growth on this chin and wore a grey hooded top with the hood pulled up. Anyone with information cshould call Beds Police on 101.
