Man found dead in Biggleswade pub
Tributes paid to Timothy Wright
A man who has been described as "quiet but friendly" was found dead in his hotel room last week.
Timothy Wright, of Surrey, who was thought to have been visiting friends in Bedfordshire, was found dead in his room at The Crown Hotel in Biggleswade at around 10.30am on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the High Street hotel after staff became concerned when Mr Wright did not come down for breakfast and would not answer the door.
His door had been locked from the inside.
This week friends and neighbours paid tribute to the 33-year-old.
Neighbours in Addlestone Moor in Surrey have spoken of their shock at his untimely death.
Jon Warne, 37, said: "It is a real shock for everyone who knew him. He kept himself to himself quite a bit, but for those of us who knew him, he was quiet but friendly enough.
"I used to enjoy spending time with him because he could brighten up your day. But I realised when I heard the news that he never really talked about himself. He was always on hand to listen to other people, though. I talked to him a lot."
Police investigating the death said they were ruling out any third party involvement.
The dead man's room was locked from the inside and secure. He was declared dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination on Mr Wright's body has been carried out, but the results have not yet been released.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
