Man robbed at knifepoint in Luton

Thieves make off with victim's wallet, phone and PIN

A 27-year-old Luton man was robbed of his mobile phone, wallet and PIN number after being threatened at knifepoint last Monday (December 28).

The incident happened at around 6.30pm at the junction of Vauxhall Way and Kimpton Road.

The victim was approached by two men who threatened him and made off towards the town centre with his Samsung mobile and wallet contaning bank cards.

They also forced him to give them his PIN.

Police are looking for a man of Asian appearance, aged between 20 and 28 years old, of average height with a stocky build, dark brown eyes, a dark complexion, wide spread nose, dark long stubble and a short moustache.

He was wearing a black hooded jacket, dark blue jeans, white training shoes and had a dark blue, light blue and white striped scarf over his face and head and black cotton gloves.

The second man is described as of Asian appearance, in his early 20s, with a thin build, light brown eyes, thick messy black hair, a sharp pointed nose and a clean shaven light complexion.

He was wearing a black scarf, black jacket, dark blue jeans, white trainers and carryied a large black holdall bag and a large knife.
