Missing: Sumo the parrot

A family’s parrot was lost during a burglary in Sundon Park Road, Luton, and police are appealing for the public’s help to find it.

Sumo, an African Grey parrot, was found to be missing after the burglary which took place between Wednesday September 19 and Thursday September 20.

It is not known if the parrot was taken by the burglar or escaped during the burglary.

The offender is thought to have forced entry into the property after entering the back garden through an open gate.
