New airline arrives at Luton

Budget flights to Italy on sale now

Luton Airport has announced the arrival of a brand new airline which will offer budget flights to Italy.

From July 2, Wind Jet will begin flying passengers twice a week to and from Forli Airport.

Flying to Forli provides easy onward access to some of Italy's most popular destinations such as Ravenna, Rimini and San Marino.

Luton Airport says the flights are ideally timed to provide simple onward flight connections to both Catania and Palermo in Sicily, famed for its beautiful beaches, cuisine and fascinating history.

Simon Harley, airline manager at the airport, said: "We are delighted to announce the arrival of Wind Jet at London Luton. With the established Italian community in the local area we are confident these flights will be extremely successful.

"Low-cost flying continues to make business and leisure travel increasingly accessible to millions of Europeans and the launch of this new service to Forli provides yet more choice for our passengers."

Flights are on sale now and can be booked at www.volawindjet.it
