Top chef Jean-Christophe Novelli’s Tea Green Academy has been shortlisted as a finalist in the inaugural British Cookery School Awards.

It has been entered in the Unsung Hero category which requires proof that an individual works tirelessly behind the scenes, above and beyond the call of duty, to ensure the business is the very best it can be.

The talented kitchen supremo and charity champion is up against stiff competition from across the country.

The winners will be announced at a gala event in London next month.
