Police seal off Luton road

Police have sealed off part of a Luton road this evening following an incident.

Officers searched the Limbury area following the incident which saw Icknield Way sealed off between the junction with Catsbrook Road and Homerton Road outside St Augustines Church earlier this afternoon.

The force helicopter was also searching the area from the air.

Bedfordshire Police were unable to confirm what had happened but a resident of nearby St Olam’s Close, who did not wish to be named, said that she heard ‘loud shouting’ shortly before police arrived on the scene.
