Police are investigating an alleged fraud involving company fuel cards at Luton waste firm Cawleys.

It is understood five members of staff at the Leagrave recycling firm, based in Covent Garden Close, were arrested at the end of June by Bedfordshire Police, and were later bailed while enquiries continued.

A police spokeswoman said a sixth person, not employed by Cawleys, had also been arrested and bailed.
