Support for carers will be available at Sainsbury’s in Bury Park, Luton as part of Carer’s Week Quest (June 9-15).

The Carers UK initiative aims to reach out to hidden carers and Luton Parent Carer Forum will be visiting the store on Saturday.

They aim to offer a chance to parents and carers of children with special and additional needs to make a positive difference together, and to make their voices heard when it comes to planning and decision making on the issues that affect them.

Tracey Gilson, from the Forum, said: “Carers Week gives us the chance to tell the wider community about our work and we’d like to encourage anyone who knows a carer or is a carer themselves and would like to learn more about what we do. Please come along and see us on Saturday.”
