Crime

Arsonists set fire to the front door of a house in Cowridge Crescent in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The incident happened at around 3am when the offender set fire to an accelerant which had been put on the front door of the property. Thankfully, neighbours saw the blaze take hold and were able to contact the fire service who put the fire out before any serious damage was caused.

No one was injured as a result of the fire but Detective Constable Gill Cowley, who is investigating the attack, is keen to hear from anyone who was in the Cowridge Crescent area at the time of the attack and may have seen anything suspicious.
