A soup kitchen for elderly, homeless and vulnerable people is now open on Saturday lunchtimes.
The kitchen in Biscot Church Hall, Trinity Road, Luton, provides hot meals and drinks to anyone who needs it in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Organiser William Raghu said: “Our soup kitchen is open to the public irrespective of race, colour, creed or culture. It is our hope that it will also help to harmonise relationships between the communities.”
During the autumn and winter months, food including soup, rice, spaghetti bolognese, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and biscuits will be served. From 12noon - 2pm.
